15 trim bolts with hacksaw.
Tighten toilet to floor.
17 check to make sure toilet is tight to floor and doesn t rock.
Stop tightening once the toilet sits securely.
Check the level of the toilet.
Check the mounting bolts.
As long as you re doing some work you might as well make sure it s nice and tightened up.
14 tighten nuts on closet bolts.
This is not uncommon.
16 install bolt caps over the closet bolts.
Test fit the toilet over the flange.

Follow the easy instructions that come with your product being sure to tighten each of the four bolts a little at a time so the rubber gasket goes down evenly around the bend pipe.
Tighten the nuts onto the new bolts.

If a bolt is loose tighten it slowly just until it is snug.
Check the condition of the flange.
