Tile Redi Mortar Bed

Use a generous amount of versabond tile mortar in about a 1 bed temporarily framed with a 2x4.

Mix the included approved redi poxy ad hesive and tr owel t e epoxy onto the sh wer pan surface using a 1 8 x 1 8 v notch trowel. Allow the mortar bed to dry in accordance with the instructions of the mortar bed manufacturer. Adjust the height of the drain as necessary to accommodate the floor covering. Some have found success using a bed of spray foam lay it down into the soupy bed of mortar moderately press it in place then check with a level.

Brush drain adhesive pvc or abs as applicable inside the drain connection located at the bottom of the drain which is integrated into the shower pan set the shower pan carefully into the mortar bed and the drain. Redi poxy is included with the purchase of all tile ready shower pans and benches and is also available for sale separately if you want extra. Adjust the height of the drain as necessary to accommodate the flooring covering. Only rapid set thinset or any type of modified thinset or redi poxy should be used to lay tile on the pan.

My contractor recommended the tile redi product and i was excited to use this product it was a little bit more expensive than a regular wet bed installation but i was ok as i thought i am getting. Materials have worked well with tile redi shower bases. You are now ready to tile to the shower enclosure.
