Press and release lock or unlock button.
Tundra remote door lock reprogram.
Turn the ignition to on and then back to off and remove the key from the ignition.
You must complete these operations within 40 seconds.
Press and hold lock and unlock button for 1 5 seconds.
If the door locks cycle twice repeat steps a and b in step 6 as the remote was not accepted.
The locks should cycle once to verify that the car has accepted your remote.
Once your car is in programming mode with the remote you are trying to program press the unlock and lock buttons simultaneously for about 2 seconds then release and press just the lock button for 1 second.
Repeat button procedure to program remaining remote transmitters.
Remove your key from the ignition then wait for doors to lock and then unlock twice.
Within 3 seconds the door locks should lock and then unlock once indicating successful programming.
Press the lock button by itself and hold for 2 seconds.
If not start again at step 1.
Insert your key into the ignition switch and put it in the run position.
This is the best and easiest fix.
While there is the possibility of a pretty big electrical issue most of the problems are minor and easy to fix.
If you key fob no longer unlocks the doors it is time for a new battery.
Using the door control pad located on the driver s side door press the lock and unlock buttons once again for five passes.
If you have done everything correctly within three seconds the door locks should lock then unlock automatically.
Close the driver s door.
Each set represents one pass.
